1. Intro
Die Crystrons sind ein Thema, das mit der Erweiterung Invasion of Venom ins Spiel gebracht wird.
Die Monster sind alle an Mineralien, vorrangig der Gruppe der Quarze angelehnt.
Zusätzlich sind sie aber auch an die vier mythologischen Kreaturen des Chinesischen Sternenbildes angelehnt.
2. Spielmechanik
Die Crystrons sind alles Wasser-Monster mit dem Typen Maschine und stützen sich auf Synchrobeschwörungen.
Die Main Deck Monster teilen sich in 2 Gruppen auf:
Die Empfänger, die während dem gegnerischen Zug Synchrobeschwörungen zulassen und zusätzlich das zweite Monster für die Synchrobeschwörung rufen.
Die Nicht-Empfänger, die alle eine offene Karte auf dem eigenen Spielfeld zerstören können um ein Cryston-Monster aus dem Deck zu rufen.
Zusätzlich können sie noch aus dem Friedhof verbannt werden um ihre individuellen Effekte zu aktivieren.
Im Extra Deck finden sich noch die Synchromonster, die sich auch eine Gemeinsamkeit teilen:
Wenn sie als Synchrobeschwörung gerufen und danach zerstört wurden kann man ein Monster aus den Friedhof als Spezialbeschwörung beschwören.
3. Karten des Themas
WATER/Machine - Tuner - Effect/1/500/500
During your opponent’s Main Phase or Battle Phase: You can Special Summon 1 non-Tuner monster from your hand, but its effects are negated, and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Machine-Type Synchro Monster, using that monster and this card only (this is a Quick Effect). You can only use this effect of "Crystron Quon" once per turn.
WATER/Machine - Tuner - Effect/2/500/500
During your opponent's Main Phase or Battle Phase: You can target 1 non-Tuner monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, but its effects are negated, and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Machine-Type Synchro Monster, using that monster and this card only (this is a Quick Effect). These Synchro Materials are banished instead of being sent to the Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Crystron Citri" once per turn.
WATER/Machine - Effect/2/500/2000
You can target 1 face-up card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner monster from your Deck, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Crystron" monster from your hand. You can only use 1 "Crystron Prasirator" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
WATER/Machine - Effect/3/1000/1800
You can target 1 face-up card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner monster from your Deck, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Crystron" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use 1 "Crystron Smoger" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
WATER/Machine - Effect/3/1500/1500
You can target 1 face-up card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner monster from your Deck, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Crystron" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Crystron Thystvern". You can only use 1 "Crystron Thystvern" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
WATER/Machine - Effect/4/1800/1000
You can target 1 face-up card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner monster from your Deck, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Crystron Token" (Machine-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0), but it cannot be Tributed. You can only use 1 "Crystron Rosenix" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
WATER/Machine - Synchro - Tuner/4/1800/2000
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Monsters
(1) During your opponent’s Main Phase or Battle Phase, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon using this card you control (this is a Quick Effect).
(2) If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 “Crystron” monster in your Graveyard, except a Synchro Monster; Special Summon it.
WATER/Machine - Synchro - Effect/5/2500/1500
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Monsters
(1) If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can change all face-up Special Summoned monsters your opponent controls to Defense Position.
(2) If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 “Crystron” monster in your Graveyard, except a Synchro Monster; Special Summon it.
WATER/Machine - Synchro - Effect/9/2800/2000
1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 1 or more non-Tuner Synchro Monsters
If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can banish all Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls and in their Graveyard. If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 other monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it.
Field Spell Card
(1) All “Crystron” monsters you control gain 300 ATK and DEF.
(2) Once per turn, during the End Phase: You can draw 1 card for each “Crystron” Synchro Monster you Synchro Summoned during this turn.
Normal Trap Card
You can only use the (2) effect of “Crystron Entry” once per turn.
(1) Special Summon 2 “Crystron” Tuner monsters (1 from your hand and 1 from your Graveyard).
(2) During either player’s turn, except during the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 “Crystron” monster you control; send 1 “Crystron” monster with a different Level than that monster from your Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, the Level of the target monster becomes the same as the Level of the monster in the Graveyard.
Normal Trap Card
(1) Target 1 of your banished “Cryston” monsters; Special Summon it, and if you do, the DEF of all face-up monsters the opponent controls becomes 0.
(2) During either player’s turn, except the turn this card is sent to the Graveyard, when a card or effect is activate that targets a “Crystron” monster(s) you control: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; negate that activation.
