      Legendary Duelists: Magical Hero features Yugi’s Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl in the ultimate magical team-up! Duelists aiming to walk in Yugi’s footsteps and become the next master of these magicians can find a treasure trove of amazing new cards for Dark Magician Decks as well as another chance to get high-demand cards like Apprentice Illusion Magician in this 56-card booster set!

      Many Spell and Trap cards have featured the duo together in their art, but for the first time ever Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl will be able to battle alongside one another as a single Fusion Monster: The Dark Magicians! Together, they excel in both might and magic, with 2800 ATK and the ability to draw a card when a Spell or Trap is activated. Draw another Spell or Trap and you can Set it directly to the field and activate it that same turn if it’s a card you can normally use at that time – even if it’s your opponent’s turn! Even though it’s a Fusion Monster, destroying this one card doesn’t defeat both Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl at the same time – you’ll get to Special Summon both of them to the field from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard!

      The Heart of the Cards allows Yugi to get the cards he needs to Summon Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl at will, but you might want a card that guarantees you can Summon them when you need them too! Magicians’ Souls is a new effect monster that can be used from your hand to send a Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl from your Deck to the Graveyard, then Summon it back to the field. Once you have one of the two masters of magic on the field, Magicians’ Combination is a new Trap Card that lets you Tribute your on-field Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl to Special Summon the other one from your hand or Graveyard and negate any card effect your opponent activates!

      While Legendary Duelists: Magical Hero puts Yugi front and center, he’s far from the only heroic figure whose Deck is getting an upgrade. Check back as the release approaches to see which other characters will appear!

      (1) When this card resolves, each player can banish up to 5 Spells from their GY, face-down.
      (2) When any monster declares an attack: Activate this effect; the attacked player can apply this effect.
      ● Randomly add to your hand 1 of your cards banished by this card’s effect, then you can discard it, and if you do, negate the attack. If you do not discard it, any battle damage you take for the rest of this turn is doubled.

      ● Fusion: Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck in Defense Position with the same original Level as that Fusion Monster, but negate its effects.
      ● Synchro: Add 1 “Polymerization” from your Deck to your hand.
      ● Xyz: Take 1 Tuner from your Deck whose Level is lower than or equal to that Xyz Monster’s Rank, and either add it to your hand or Special Summon it.

      Für DM würde ich mir auch einen der ägyptischen Charaktere wünschen - Marik, Rishid oder Isis, oder auch die beiden Maskentypen.
      Was die GX-Ära angeht hätten die "Arkane Macht"-Karten mal ein Upgrade verdient.
      Und bei 5D's wären neben Lua und Luca auch noch Meklords denkbar.
      Vielleicht machen sie aber auch einfach mal ein Pack nur für die sechs Protagonisten?

      Da die heiligen Ungeheuer ja im SD voting ganz oben waren kommt dort vieleicht nun ein teil des supports rein.
      Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich das jemals sagen würde(irgendwo sitzt jetzt ein Dzeef und weint für mich :(
      ich freu mich jetzt schon über dieses Set und diese Karten, wenn das Powerlevel so gut bleibt.

      Zuerst einmal das fusionsmonster. Ein Dark Magician/Dark Magician Girl + 1 Spellcaster ist schonmal interessant, besonders da bisher keine fusionszauberkarte angekündigt wurde. Würde aber eine kommen, die vom Deck fusioniert(ohne weitere restrictions) hätte man hier den "Brilliant Fusion Effect", und könnte unter anderem auch Shaddolls dumpen. Ansonsten wäre aber auch schon ein Monster gut, was im Friedhof zu einem Dark Magician( Girl) wird. Wobei man ansonsten ja noch die Dragons mirror für Spellcasters hat.
      Wobei der Effekt des Fusionsmonster wiederum so gut ist, dass man bezweifeln kann, dass eine eigene Fusion oder ein Dark Magician Ersatz Monster geliefert wird.
      Andererseits ist hier ein fixer name drauf geschrieben, und man kann das Fusionsmaterial mit fast jedem Fusionsmaterial-ersatz-Monster oder Kartennamen-wechsler ersetzen.

      Die Falle ist ganz nett, aber wirklich interessant find ich das neue Effektmonster. Weil im grunde ist es ein Dragon Shrine um High Level Spellcasters millen zu können. Denn der anschließende send me to grave, Then summon XY ist ein zusätzlicher Effekt und muss nicht ausgeführt werden, wobei der selbst-Special summon auch nice für z.b. Link Plays sein kann. Beim zweiten Effekt ließe sich bestimmt auch eine menge schabernack anstellen.

      Ist halt genauso "interessant" wie die bisherigen Fusionsmonster und genau deshalb denke ich nicht, dass eine Art Brilliant Fusion kommen wird. Jeden Krieger, Drache oder auch Hexer gezielt zu millen wäre schon heftig.

      Aber highlight ist halt einfach das Stufe 1, wirklich sehr stark.

      Jetzt bin ich umso mehr hyped auf die anderen Charaktere und ob dessen Support genauso stark ausfällt :thumbsup:
