      Lightning Overdrive is poised to shock the Dueling world and reinvigorate not one, but TWO beloved monsters from the worlds of the Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series!

      First, Number 39: Utopia from Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL gets a brand-new version of its upgraded Number C39: Utopia Ray form! Alongside comes a new suite of supporting cards that help you Summon Utopia as well as fetch “ZW” monsters and “Rank-Up-Magic” Spells out of your Deck.

      After that, Lightning Overdrive rewinds time to Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s, and introduces a new upgraded form of Akiza’s beloved Black Rose Dragon! This monster will also be joined by a small retinue of “Rose Dragon” related cards to aid your Synchro Summons.

      But it doesn’t stop there! A brand-new strategy invites all Duelists to explore the excitement and mystery of a monster-themed amusement park, and the story of Fallen of Albaz that began in Rise of the Duelist continues onward.

      Es ist ein EINMALIGER Monster-negate, der sich nicht aktiviert. Ähnlich wie Hamon's Spell, nur für Monstereffekte halt.

      Außerdem ist es, wenn ich mich nicht täusche, nur im eigenen Zug, oder?

      Ich finde den Support eigentlich echt gut. Die ZS sind stark und die eine Spell ist ein generischer Sucher für Rank-Up-Spells.

      Ich hoffe nur, Utopic Zexal erlebt das alles nicht mehr.

      Die Karte ist jetzt wirklich nur noch eine Beleidigung für alle die sich auch nur irgendwie irgendwas für Ice Barrier erhofft hatten. Selten so eine Dreckskarte gesehen. Das finde ich echt low von Konami ihrer Community gegenüber.
      Sollen sie nur weiter machen, mit ihrer tollen Logik, den Decks die bereits gut waren meist guten Support zu geben und Decks die schlecht waren, meist schlechten Support zu geben. Dann haben sie mich als Spieler bald endgültig verloren.
      Spieler: "Hulqifibrax bringt dem Spiel AUSSCHLIEßLICH brokenes und ungesundes!"
      Ich: "Nein, er hilft auch vielen schwachen & kreativen Decks auf faire Art."
      Spieler: "Deine dummen kack Fun-Decks zählen nicht!"
      Ich: "Was zählt denn?"

      Spieler: "Na nur die brokenen und ungesunden Sachen."

      Der zweite Effekt: warum? Bringt das irgendwelche Vorteile, außer evtl dem Gegner tolle Karten, die er im Grave wollte, wieder wegzunehmen? Ist ja nichtmal ein Schnelleffekt...
      Der dritte Effekt: was hilft das?

      Wie hilft diese Karte irgendeinem Deck? Änder den Namen, sodass sie in ein xbeliebiges Deck passt, welches Deck würde sich ernsthaft darüber freuen?

      Oh Mann, ich gehöre auf jeden Fall zu denen, die sich verarscht fühlen. Dabei wollte ich Ice Barrier ja nicht direkt T0 oder T1 sehen, aber da war mehr drin, viel mehr - und selbst dann wäre es maximal T2 geworden. Puh... Schwach, Konami, echt schwach.

      Doch stattdessen erwartet uns voraussichtlich noch 1-2 Wellen schlechter Ice Barrier Support(man bedenke dass Shaddoll als Vergleichsträger 1 Support im Hauptset und 1x 3 Karten im Nebensset Selection 10 bekommt), sowie mindestens 1x Cyber-Support(bedenkt dass dies nicht unbedingt Cyber Dragon sein muss, sondern auch einfach Cyber-allerlei der am ende enttäuschend sein könnte)
    • Na gut, das ist bloße Spekulation.

      Hätten es andere Decks auf den zweiten Platz geschafft, heißt das nicht, dass deren Support viel besser ausgefallen wäre. Oder dann zu stark, sodass sich auch wieder einige beschwert hätten.
      Die Spieler haben so entschieden, Konami hat die Vorlage nur eben mäßig verwandelt.
      Cyber-Support wird jetzt natürlich spannend zu sehen, erstmal für welches Cyber-Thema und dann, wie stark er wird.

      Aber Ice Barrier muss man wohl abschreiben, traurig.
      Bis dann mal wieder Support kommt, wird es wohl etwas dauern - es sei denn, der Aufschrei der wenigen Ice Barrier Fans wird so groß, dass Konami als Entschuldigung direkt weitere Karten raus haut (ie dann auch erst mal gut sein müssten^^).

    • Traptrix hat nun wirklich keinen support gebraucht. Warum bekommen die immer und immer wieder neue Karten. Nervt langsam.
      Bujin torifune ist allerdings echt nice.

      Die Amazement Karten finde ich recht cool. Zumindest 3 davon als Engine für Trap Decks. Nicht sicher ob es sich wirklich lohnt, aber dennoch interessant.
      Und wenn ich mir die Attraction Karten angucke, muss ich sehr an die Musik von Gold Saucer aus Final Fantasy 7 denken xD.

      Traptrix sind halt sehr beliebt, aus offensichtlichen Gründen. Die waren ja damals im SD-Voting auf dem vierten Platz hinter Charmers, wenn ich mich richtig erinnere
