    Bochum Report

Since I can’t speak or write German and you guys probably can’t read Dutch I will write my report in English.

I live nearby Arnheim so the German border is really close and since we don’t have really big tournaments in Holland we decided to go to Bochum. I’ve been there for the European Championship in 2006 ( it was the first EC) (won by a Dutchy) so we decide to repeat that.
From around Rotterdam 2 Dutch top players arrived at Friday to travel with me, the other 2 guys live nearby, one of them is the current National Champ.

Saturday we arrive early at Bochum and when were asked from with “Bundesland” we come from we say Holland. So you guys have a new Bundesland ;)
After that we look around to find Ute&Frank Kahle and obv. Joshua. This is my 4th German Tournament (not counting EC2006) so I recognized a few players.

I decided to play Lightsworn because a friend of mine wanted to play my TeleDaD. The Champ also played with TeleDaD and from Rotterdam we have another Lightsworn and a Little City anti meta deck. He earned himself a deck feature.

Round one Mathijs Schuurman vs. Christina Pesch - Six Samurai

Game 2 she starts with 2 set cards and I activate 3 Solar Recharge and 3 Charge of the Light Brigade and make a OTK

    1-0

Round two Mathijs Schuurman vs. Ricardo Fernandez – Monarch
Game 1 I have Ehren the Lightsworn Monk and he has only def monsters
Game 2 my Ehren is removed from play I have 10 cards left and he keeps safe thanks to Spirirt Reaper and Marshmellon, deckout…
Game 3 I don’t lose lifepoints and make a OTK in turn 3

    2-0

Round three Mathijs Schuurman vs. Alexander Brune – Tele DaD

Round four Mathijs Schuurman vs. Fabian Marnor Burn
Game 1 he starts with set 1 min set 1 s/t I start with Foolish Burial>Wulf>Celestia
The 2nd turn we repeat the same thing but iset Beckoning Light and turn 3 I ply a 3th Celestia for game
Game 2 thanks to Ehren and Lyla I win

    3-1
Round five Mathijs Schuurman vs. Dennis Höpfel – Gladiator Beast
Game I have a godhand then I hear a lot of German talk I don’t understand but it seems we have a reapair.
