Moin,
ZitatAlles anzeigenHow To Register Your Nick:
Make sure you aren't on a Guestnick. (i.e. Guest21646)
If you ARE on a guest nick, then change your nick with the command "/nick newnickhere"
Simply replace "newnickhere" with a nickname that you desire. Try to stay original with your nick name choice.
After you have a non-Guestnick nickname, type this command:
/ns REGISTER password e-mail
All you much change is the word "password" to whatever password you want your nick to have. Make sure it is very hard to guess and is something that a friend of yours couldn't find out easily. The other thing you much change is the word "e-mail." Change "e-mail" to an e-mail address that YOU have. Also, make sure this e-mail address is NOT an AOL e-mail. AOL doesn't like the forum's e-mails so it deletes them when they're sent. I suggest either Hotmail, Yahoo, or even Gmail.
Ex: /ns REGISTER blah ILoveE-mail@yahoo.com
The password in this situation would be "blah" and the e-mail would be "ILoveE-mail@yahoo.com" Very simple.
After you type in the command correctly, you should get an e-mail very shortly with what we call a 'confirmation code' in it. It gives you instructions on what to type back on IRC to fully register your desired nickname. The command to confirm is "/ns CONFIRM codehere" You will have to replace "codehere" with the confirmation code in the e-mail.
