DNA Surgery vs. Seed Shot

    DNA Surgery:
    When you activate this card, declare 1 Type of monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all face-up monsters become the Type you declared.


    Seed Shot:
    When a Plant-Type monster is Summoned, place 1 Plant Counter on this card (max. 5). You can send this face-up card to the Graveyard to inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of Plant Counters on this card x 500.



    und dazu folgende situation...
    ich habe seed shot und dna (alles zu pflanzen) aktiviert
    nun beschwört mein gegner ein monster, was ja nun eine pflanze ist


    die alles entscheidende frage:
    bekommt Seed Shot nen counter?


    die frage stelle ich wegen dem wort "become", also "werden"
    mir ist nicht klar, ob sie für den bruchteil einer sekunde bei der beschwörung vorerst noch der ursprungstyp sind, als der die karte gedacht war, bspw. krieger

    Da steht ja, wenn eine Pflanze beschworen wurde! (ähnlich wie mit Zombie World)
    d.h. ja eigentlich, sobald das Monster beschworen wird, ist es eine Pflanze und dann kommt dein seed shot.


    Und da seed shot in crimson crisis erscheint, denke ich mal, es funktioneirt auch so, weil da nämlich auch ivy shakle drin ist!


    aber ein offizielles ruling existiert noch nicht... in japan war ja gerade mal die sneak für crimson crisis und bei uns ist noch nicht mal crossroads of chaos draussen xD

    • When "Rivalry of Warlords" is active, and you change the Type of all of your monsters with "DNA Surgery" or "Parasite Paracide" or "D. Tribe", you now only have 1 Type so you are OK and no monsters are destroyed, and you can also Summon, Flip Summon, and Special Summon additional monsters that do not have that printed Type on the card and they will be considered that Type and are not destroyed.


    du kannst andersartige monster beschwören wenn du z.b. einen krieger auf dem feld hast, kannst du pflanze beschwören wenn DNA alles zu krieger macht.


    demnach sorgt der permanente effect von dna dafür das der monstertyp sofort geändert wird => du wirst höchstwarscheinlich deinen counter bekommen.
