Koa'ki Meiru Overload

  • Ich hab eine Frage zu Koa'ki Meiru Overload:

    Koa'ki Meiru Overload

During each of your End Phases, destroy this card unless you send 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from your hand to the Graveyard or reveal 1 Rock-Type monster in your hand. During either player's turn, when your opponent would Summon a monster(s): You can Tribute this card; negate the Summon, and if you do, destroy that monster(s).

    Hab folgende Rulings gefunden:

•Sending an Iron Core of Koa’ki Meiru from the hand to the Graveyard, revealing a Rock-Type monster or destroying this card during the End Phase is not treated as an effect. This is a Maintenance Cost to keep this card on the field. (This does not start a chain)

    Das ist klar!

•The Monster Effect that negates Summons is a Quick Effect. (This effect can be activated in response to Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum or other Special Summons that do not start a chain. Tributing this card is a cost to activate this effect)

Im Effekttext steht "Summon", also kann Overdose auch Normalsummons negieren, richtig?
Der teil mit " other Special Summons" irritiert.

  • Zitat

other Special Summons that do not start a chain.

Damit sind interne Specials gemeint, wie BLS, Chaos Sorcerer, Quickdraw Synchron etc
und ja, Normalbeschwörungen können auch negiert werden.

das mit den " other Special Summons that do not start a chain." steht da nur, weil du keine externen Beschwörungen wie durch Call of the haunted, Wiedergeburt und andere Karteneffekte negieren kannst.

    Edit: 2 slow :P
